They are the most garden worthy kind of Geraniums available. Well-drained soil is beneficial to all varieties. Pinch rather heavily after flowering to encourage blooming throughout the summer. This perennial can be a very useful weed smothering, tight ground cover. It is at home in almost any soil as along as it’s well drained. It needs to be planted in an area of full sun to partial shade. Geraniums are fairly adaptable to short periods of dry conditions. These plants require minimal care once well established and are free form pests and diseases.
1. Select an area with full sun or semi-shade
2. Dig a hole 1 inch (2,5 cm) deep
3. Place the perennial in the hole, with pointed side up
4. Space perennials 18 inches (45 cm) apart
5. Cover with soil and water thoroughly
Plant in groups of 2 or more, in well-drained soil. Perennial will benefit from a handful of compost added to the planting holes. The geranium appreciates cool summer regions, and evenly moist soil. Plants can be easily divided in the fall or early spring of next season. Until planting it's best to store product between 35 F and 60 F degrees.
