GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

For best results we recommend following the instructions below.

Seed Preparation

No pre-treatment is required. Seeds can be sown directly.

Sowing

1. Fill the container with 1/2 cup (4 fluid ounces) of lukewarm water. Place the pellet in the water and stir until it is fully expanded. Once the water has been completely absorbed, loosen the premium grow mix with a fork.
2. Fill the planter with 90% of the expanded growing medium.
3. Carefully sow the seeds evenly over the surface. Do not cover the seeds, or cover only very lightly, as light helps germination.
4. Place the planter in a warm location at approximately 20–24°C (68–75°F).
5. Keep the growing medium consistently moist, but not waterlogged.

Germination

• Germination usually occurs within 10–21 days.
• Place the planter in a bright location with indirect sunlight.

Seedling Care

1. When the seedlings reach 5–10 cm (2–4 inches) tall, keep the strongest seedling in the planter and transplant the others into similar pots.
2. Water regularly and avoid letting the soil dry out completely.
3. Pinch out the growing tips to encourage a bushier plant.

4.     Once established and all risk of frost has passed, plants can be moved outdoors or transplanted into larger containers.
