GROWING INSTRUCTIONS POP UP GARDEN
Thank you for selecting this quality grow kit!
Growing Instructions for tomato, basil, parsley, chives, mini tomato, bell pepper and strawberry (the lavender instructions are separate (below these instructions):
The best time to start your indoor kit is from mid-February until June.
1. Fill up a separate bucket or pot with 1 1/3 cup (0.33 liter or 11 fluid ounces) of lukewarm water. Place pellet in the water and stir until it is fully expanded. Once water has been completely absorbed you can loosen the premium grow mix with a fork (for best results leave it overnight for complete absorption).
2. For tomato, basil, parsley, chives, mini tomato and bell pepper: fill the planter with 90% of the expanded premium grow mix.
For Strawberry: fill the planter with 95% of the expanded premium grow mix.
3. Carefully open the seed packet and place seeds, evenly divided, in the premium grow mix. Place 1/6 inch (0,5 cm) of grow mix on the seeds. The strawberry seeds need just a light coating of grow mix to protect the seeds. These seeds are slow germinators and may take up to five weeks to sprout.
4. Important: Place the planter in a warm and sunny spot of ±68º F (20ºC).
5. Keep the medium moist (best is spraying) but avoid soaking completely!
Lavender instructions:
2. Fill the planter with 100% of the expanded premium grow mix.
3. To optimize growing conditions before planting, carefully open the seed packet and place seeds in water for 30 minutes, then fold them in a paper towel and store in the fridge or freezer for 2/3 days.
4. Place seeds, evenly divided, in the premium grow mix. Gently push the seeds down so there is good contact with grow mix. DO NOT cover the seeds. The enclosed seeds DO need access to sunlight in order to germinate. These seeds are slow germinators and may take up to four weeks to sprout.
5. Important: Place the planter in a warm spot of ±68º F (20ºC).
6. Keep the grow mix moist (best is spraying) but avoid soaking completely!
7. For best result, cover pot with saran wrap (poke a couple of holes) until seedlings show. Lift cover every day to ventilate.
Do not move your plants outside until after last frost.
