Growing Instructions
No water or soil needed! The Amaryllis bulb holds all the nutrients it needs to grow and bloom. If there is no visible bud and you want to keep the amaryllis for a while longer, store it in a cool, dry place. Rarely, it may happen that the Amaryllis does not start to grow. It means you see nothing happening, not even a leaf appears. If this is the case, you can put the Amaryllis in the fridge for 2-3 weeks. This will help to restart the growing process. Do Not put it in the freezer as it will damage the bulb forever.
Do not add water!
When the flowers bloom, keep out of direct sunlight to prolong the flowering period. As the stems grow, change the direction of the planter occasionally to keep the stems from leaning towards the light. It may be necessary to support the stems and flowers so the plant will not topple.
Caution: Do not eat ornamental bulbs.
